Idle Adjustment (Screw 1 \u2013 Top Screw)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Loosen <strong>nut 1 with a 13 mm wrench<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the nut, there is a <strong>hole with an internal flat adjustment screw<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use a <strong>flat screwdriver<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Turn in = less gas<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Turn out = more gas<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This only adjusts the <strong>idle mixture<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u26a0 <strong>Important:<\/strong><br>Do <strong>not<\/strong> turn this screw too far. Excessive force or adjustment can <strong>damage the mixer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-high-rpm-adjustment-screw-2\"><strong>2. High RPM Adjustment (Screw 2)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This screw controls the mixture at <strong>higher engine speeds (RPM)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Normally, this <strong>does not need much adjustment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Standard setting is <strong>\u201cR\u201d = Rich<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-final-check\"><strong>Final Check<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After every adjustment:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Let the engine idle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blip the throttle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify values with the <strong>4-gas analyzer<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-warning\"><strong>Warning<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Incorrect adjustment <strong>without measurement equipment<\/strong> can cause:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Poor combustion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engine overheating<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Long-term engine damage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Quick guide for the adjustment of the IMPCO CA300 Mixer (part of our IMPCO Kits).
