SGISN Plus (Sequential Gas Injection System) is the new system produced by Bigas for sequential electronic injection of autogas (LPG) suitable for all kind of catalytic and injection automobiles.

Introduction

During the last years, the technology of car-electronics and of petrol powered engines have changed in fast speed. Modern petrol engines are equiped with a sequential multipoint petrol-injectionsystem that works thogether through a CAN-bus system with the electronics of the car.

The answer of Bigas to these technical changes is the Bigas SGIS PLUS-system. This is a high-tech multipoint sequential in-line LPG intjectionsystem. The system has been developed by Bigas during a 6 year period.

The SGIS PLUS-system garantees optimal motor performance and a constant low emissions, in combination with a very advantageous price. The new Bigas injectionsystem is one of the few systems currently on the market that is able to communicate without any problems with the computers of the EURO-4 engines. Absolute innovation are the new noiseless LPG-injectors.

LPG REDUCER
The LPG vaporizer / reducer is suitable for all automobilies to 140Kw.
It is designed to ensure best gasification performance in all conditions

LPG REDUCER RI-21 Double
The new LPG vaporizer /reducer RI21 double is suitable for all automobilies over 140Kw up to 280Kw. In a small volume all the power of two LPG reducer RI-21.
It is designed to ensure best gasification performance in all conditions

ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT
The “Sequential GIS N” electronic control unit controls the optimum gas erogation into each cylinder, adjusting solenoid valve opening time of the distributor.

Technical features:

> Input signals: water temperature, gas temperature, gas pressure, manifold depression, motor revs, petrol injection signal, gas-petrol commutation, gas level
> Car set-up: The ECU has to be connected to a PC and programmed with the SGIS N software. It’s possible to set the car with simplified automatic calibration and then personalizing a fine calibration . For programming there are many functions, such as: driving from 3 to 8 gas injectors in sequentialway , semi-sequential way or full group, possibility to choose motor revs for petrol-gas switching, process value of exaust gas emission


DISTRIBUTOR
The distributor, controlled by the ECU, injects gas directly into each cylinder. The injection solenoid valves are mounted on a modular common rail.
